My partner, Tyson Neufeld, and I had the incredible opportunity to design
the Cultural District Booklet for the City of Kelowna. This project aimed to showcase the diverse arts organizations and facilities within the downtown Cultural District, making it a valuable resource for both tourists and locals.
As someone passionate about the arts and bringing people together, this project was especially meaningful to me. And getting to work with my favorite person, Tyson? Even better. We make the perfect team—I bring
the chaos, and he brings the order.
For this design, we built upon the existing Cultural District branding while incorporating our own creative spin. Art is fun, messy, and full of emotion, and I wanted the booklet to reflect that. I aimed for something unique—different from the usual brochures you’d find at an information
center—while still ensuring it was easy to navigate.
To keep the booklet as timeless as possible, we avoided including dates. Instead, we focused on directing readers to websites and social media, embracing the ever-evolving digital world. This project was a fantastic challenge, and I’m incredibly proud of what we created.
